The probability of default indicates the probability, with which a company in a certain rating class will become insolvent in the next twelve months. Statistically calculated probabilities of default can be assigned to each rating class.

Capital turnover is an indicator for efficiency of the used capital. A high capital turnover meets the requirements of high return on investment and causes also an improvement of the liquidity.

Net Productivity (%)

= gross earning / personnel costs

Net productivity displays the efficiency of the personnel placement as to a company¿s gross earning. Gross earning serves as a basis for this calculation in order to prevent a distortion of productivity due to a different efficiency focus. This approach makes it easier to compare companies with one another.

Commencement Date (Bankruptcy)

Type of Insolvency

Bankruptcy
A petition for bankruptcy can be filed by the debtor or creditor. An administrator in bankruptcy is appointed by the bankruptcy court upon commencement of proceedings. The bankruptcy court also decides whether the business in bankruptcy may continue trading or will not (Closure).

Juridical composition.
In case of (imminent) insolvency and/or excessive indebtedness, the debtor company may file a petition for juridical composition itself. The minimum requirement by law is a 40% payment plan to unsecured creditors, payable within two years. Upon agreement by a majority of all unsecured creditors and payment of the agreed plan, the company will be discharged of its old debts.
